A story of passion and transmission
Michel Ameline, father and founder of the bodywork, began his career as a bodybuilder manufacturer. In 1992 he decided to create his own company and manufacture his first horse truck. Based in Plélan-le-Grand, Brittany, he developed his first horse bodyworks on second-hand vans.
Pioneering Innovation
His experience and creativity led him to pioneer the design of monoblock trailers, presenting his first model at the Paris Show in 1995, an innovation ahead of its time and recognized throughout the European market.
For years, the Ameline family lived to the rhythm of equestrian competitions, professional fairs and bodywork projects, passing on their passion for horses and their commitment to quality.
Thanks to the reliability, durability and elegance of its vehicles, the company gained prestige in France and beyond its borders, consolidating a network of clients throughout Europe.
A new generation
In 2005 the Ameline family moved to Vilajuïga, Spain, to continue the adventure. There, Julien Ameline, his son, joined the family business.
Julien trained in France within the prestigious Compagnons du Devoir organization. His dedication and passion earned him the title of Best Apprentice of France – Gold Medal 2005.
A natural continuity
Constant Evolution
In 2022, the company inaugurated the new Ameline workshops in Vilamalla (2,500 m²), a decisive step to support growth and reach the goal of producing more than 100 vehicles per year.
